Who Kestrel Systems is, where we work from, and how we work with the companies that hire us.

Who we are

Our story

Kestrel Systems has been building software for other companies since 2017.

Our main office is in Tallinn, Estonia, and we have a second, smaller office in Krakow, Poland.

Today we are 25 people, and we are hiring: the plan is to be around 40 within the next year.

The work is custom software, and two industries come up again and again: logistics — delivery, warehousing and transport — and fintech, meaning payments and banking.

Some of the companies we build for are large, but our agreements do not let us name them. So a project is described on this site by its industry and by what we built, never by the client.

  • One team in Tallinn and Krakow

    The people in Tallinn and Krakow work as one team on the same projects, rather than as separate branches.

  • We stay in two industries

    Logistics and fintech. Working in the same two domains year after year means we arrive already knowing the constraints — the integrations, the audit trails, the data that cannot be lost.

  • Your name stays yours

    We do not publish the names of the companies we build for, here or anywhere else. When we show our work we describe the industry and the problem instead.

  • When you can reach us

    Our working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00–18:00. That is when a question reaches us and when we answer it.
